Grange
Ground-floor flat in a block of flats

The project

A wet room with a level, flush floor throughout, for easy use.

The plan relied on an electric shower pump. Once the old bathroom was out, we found a better way. We re-routed the waste pipe and cut a fall into the existing concrete slab so the shower drains by gravity, with no pump to run, service or fail.

The tiling

We tiled the room using three tile sizes, plus a patterned feature wall chosen by the client. The pattern had to line up first time, and it did.

Kept on track

One supplied item arrived below standard and could not be fitted. We rejected it and had a replacement ordered while work carried on, so the delay stayed small.

The result

The client was delighted with the finished room.
