Cookie Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
This website is operated by Brunon Rogowski Ltd trading as Sweet Homes Edinburgh (registered in Scotland, company number SC700883). We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how you interact with our website, to provide you with a better experience, and to improve our services.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow websites to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences, login details, and browsing behaviour. Cookies are widely used to improve the user experience and allow websites to function properly.
Cookies we use
Two groups of cookies can be set, and only the first is ever set without your permission.
Necessary
| Cookie | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
sh_consent | Remembers the choice you make on the cookie banner, whichever option you choose, so you are not asked again on every visit. | 365 days |
Analytics, only if you allow it
These six cookies record the route you take through this website, so we can see which pages lead to enquiries. They store cleaned page addresses and a broad source category only: no query strings, no search terms and no full external web addresses. If you send an enquiry, the route is stored with that enquiry.
| Cookie | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
sh_entry_path | The first page of this site you landed on. | Up to 30 days |
sh_entry_source | A broad category for where the visit came from, such as a search engine, a campaign link or another website. | Up to 30 days |
sh_first_seen_at | The date and time this browser first arrived. | Up to 30 days |
sh_previous_path | The page you viewed before the current one. | Up to 30 days |
sh_last_money_path | The most recent service page you viewed. | Up to 30 days |
sh_last_path | The most recent page you viewed. | Up to 30 days |
sh_ad_click | The Google Ads click reference and campaign tags from the link that first brought you here, if you came from an advert or tagged link. | Up to 30 days |
With the same permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure website visits, pricing and FAQ headings appearing on screen, enquiry and contact-link clicks, form starts, broad form-error categories and enquiries received by our secure form. These events use fixed labels; we do not send form entries, contact addresses or numbers, uploaded files, filenames, error-message text or enquiry reference numbers to Google Analytics. Section views do not prove that text was read, and contact-link clicks do not prove that a call or email occurred. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies on this website:
_gadistinguishes browsers using a randomly generated analytics identifier. Kept for up to 30 days._ga_*keeps information about a visit for our Google Analytics website stream. Kept for up to 30 days.
We configure these cookies with a 30-day lifetime without extending it on each visit. Analytics stays off until you agree. We ask for an updated analytics choice before enabling this section and action measurement. We use the same consent and analytics cookies; no extra tracking cookies are added.
Rejecting analytics, or withdrawing your consent later, deletes the six enquiry-source cookies and accessible Google Analytics cookies and stops further measurement by this integration. Withdrawal does not remove information already received by Google. You can still use the website and send an enquiry. You can review these categories and manage your choice at any time using the cookie controls in the site footer.
Third-party cookies
We do not use advertising cookies or social media tracking cookies. If you allow analytics, we also tell our Google Ads account that an enquiry was received, never its contents, so we can see which adverts lead to enquiries. We do not use this to personalise adverts or build advertising audiences.
